“Map of Toronto” by Dave Murray

Campus1 MTL Student Residence
420 Sherbrooke West, Montreal QC

Originally commissioned by Airbnb, Montreal born artist Dave Murray created this illustrated map of Toronto highlighting different neighbourhoods and featuring local landmarks. Knightstone chose this piece for its use of bold colours and Murray’s characteristic graphic style that captivates the student imagination and transforms the surrounding landscape into an animated canvas for exploration. The piece hangs in the dining hall of CampusOne Student Residence – the social heart of the building – to interlace the internal student population with the wider Toronto community and stimulate the residents’ natural curiosity to explore the City’s local neighbourhoods.
